A Day in La Coruna

We arrived in LaCoruna early this morning to another beautiful day.  Our excursion took us on a walking tour of the city with visits to two tapas.  The highlights of our tour....a 10th and a 12th century church, the market where it was mostly seafood (all women work the market as their husbands are out fishing), a "Momo's" cafe, Benedictine convent (the nuns stay inside and their source of income is doing laundry for local hotels and restaurants), children take minimum of four languages from ages 3 to 17 (Spanish, Galicia, English, German, French), and finally tapas of potato omelette, ham and cheese poppers, calamari and pork and chips with a Ribeiro white wine and then cheeses and sausages and tuna fish pie with a Albariño red wine.  After all of that we were back to the boat and took a nap. Tea time this afternoon was delicious with scones and some sweet treats.  When we got back to our cabin, our butler stopped in to see if he could make us a cocktail.  Oh, he did not have to twist our arms!  We sailed at 4:30 and the seas are rough.  This boat is really rockin' and rollin'!
This evening we are having dinner with the new CEO of the company.  Gotta go to work!
Tomorrow we dock in Bilbao.
