Movin' on to Lisbon

We started our morning early with a chilly (47 degrees) walk around the wall of the castle.  It is hard to believe that all of the wall and the castle were built that long ago!  The pictures are all from our walk this morning.  Yes, I was scared to death and freezing cold!!  We did not walk the entire wall, but about half of it.  When we came down, we walked up the main street of Obidos and the street was covered in yellow flowers - for May Day.  Each door had a bouquet of flowers on it too.  After breakfast and packing up (Dad loved carrying our bags down those 50 cobblestone steps!), we hit the road to Lisbon.  We turned in our rental car and met our ride to the hotel.  I must say it is a very nice hotel.
Stephen and Erica, I finished The Hunger Games today!  I could not put it down, and I can't wait to start the next one!
It seems as though I have gotten a cold - can't stop sneezing and my nose is so stuffy.
I am posting this early as we do not have WiFi in our room, so I am doing this in the hotel lobby.  Dinner is at 8:00 tonight so I am going to try for a power nap beforehand.
Hope you all are enjoying - we will post more tomorrow!

Yes, I was scared to death!!!

View from the wall

The corner of the wall on this picture is where I was standing in the first picture.

We are above the rooftops of the houses

This is how the street looked for May Day
