California here we come!

Finally! We are on the road! As you can see by the pictures, we have used every square inch of space in the car and actually had to leave some stuff behind. Julie is happy because she has her orchids right beside her! Traffic was verrrry slow getting out of the Windy City. For dinner this evening we had some very delicious California wraps (we thought it only appropriate) goal for tonight is Des Moines, Iowa. I will have to post pictures later as I am a bit technologically challenged. We started listening to our first book, and it was so bad we stopped it. Let's hope the next one is better. We are on Interstate 80 all the way to California. Ok, I am rambling.....good night!
