After a slight delay from PHL to LIS we arrived safe and sound in Lisbon around 10:00 this morning. We had a quick tour of the city and then headed to our home for the week, Oceania's Nautica. Our suite is HUGE and so very nice. We have our own private balcony where we can sunbath 😎 or sit and have a meal. Our room is at the front of the boat, aka "Forward". Oh, and we even have a butler for the week!! Right now, Dad and I are enjoying a bottle of champagne. We also had 2 dozen roses in our room when we arrived! 😊 We have dinner this evening with some old USF&G friends, Charlie and Sherry McShane. Tuesday evening we have dinner with the CEO of State Auto. Guess we do have to go to work on this trip!!
The cruise director on this ship is from McKeesport, PA and graduated from IUP. One of her favorite hobbies.....making pieroges!
We are in desperate need of a nap but our bags have not yet arrived. 😳 at 5:15 we have a mandatory muster drill and hen off to a cocktail party nd dinner. It is going to be an early night as we need some sleep. Should be fun trying to keep Dad awake through dinner!
